A Perfect Go-To Floral Dress with PIOL
THE FLORAL DRESS
Honestly, I'm forever going to be a 'jeans and t-shirt' kind of girl but sometimes I just feel like slipping into a beautiful dress like this one from
. My favorite thing about this PIOL dress is that it was customized for me.At PIOL, you have the opportunity to create the perfect dress by completely custom designing it yourself.
, you enter your hair, skin and eye color and the site suggests a color aura for you. The color aura gives you a range of colors and patterns that are designed to highlight your natural coloring and complement your figure. But if you prefer something else, it's easy to alter the aura and choose your own colors. When I designed my dress, I liked the colors PIOL assigned me but was looking for something slightly different. I wanted brighter floral prints for the warmer season so I played around with the palettes. It was really nice having an active part in the making of my dress.PIOL then offers the choice to select your own silhouette, skirt, neckline, and sleeve length. I decided on the tailored dress silhouette because I had never owned a dress really fitted to my figure. Lastly, I entered my dress measurements and sent off my personalized dress to be cut and sewn in NYC.
A month later, I received my custom PIOL dress and fell in love with it. The dress even came with handy items such as a pretty folder, belt and measuring tape. The dress fit me exactly. I wish the opening of the sleeves were slightly larger so I could raise my arm more comfortably but it's a slight flaw I'm happy to overlook. Otherwise, the fabric felt high quality, soft, and sturdy. The dress's vibrant floral pattern were precisely what I wanted. My PIOL dress ended up perfectly complimenting me as well as the beautiful weather outside. The dresses are definitely an expensive investment piece but I encourage everyone to check out
and try to design the perfect dress. Maybe you'll create a dress worth splurging for.
